As the weekend draws closer, excitement continues to build for the big Manny Pacquiao vs. Timothy Bradley boxing showdown this Saturday night. Manny Pacquiao is one of the few boxers today whose appeal transcends boxing fans and reaches out to a more casual audience. As a result, for every Pacquiao fight, there are plenty of fans tuning in who may not be quite as familiar with Manny, and considerably less so with his opponent.

The other biggest star of boxing, congressman Manny Pacquiao, is getting back into the ring this Saturday to defend his WBO welterweight title against the undefeated former 140-lb king, Timothy Bradley. I have the honor of covering the fight live from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nev.

I'll be attending the weigh-in, which is Friday, June 8th, at the MGM Grand. It will be also televised live on HBO at 6 p.m. ET.

If you would like to read about some insight into how the big fight on Saturday may go down, check out B/R boxing community predictions for Pacquiao vs. Bradley.

I was on the phone earlier with everyone's favorite referee, Kenny Bayless, who will be the third man in the ring for the co-main event on Saturday—Jorge Arce vs. Jesus Rojas.

I'll be doing an exclusive interview with Kenny Bayless on Saturday, so send in your questions. If you have a great question for Bayless, I'll ask him for you in the interview.

Also, famous Filipino-American comedian star, Jo Koy, will be in attendance at Friday's weigh-in. Jo Koy is performing at TI on Friday at 9 p.m., and he actually invited me to come backstage before his show. We will be doing an exclusive interview with him as well.

There are a ton of pre-fight parties as well as after-fight parties going on this weekend for those of you in town in Las Vegas, and I will post the details for those later on in this live blog.

So keep checking back to this live blog and I will update it as I attend the weigh-in on Friday.

A potential Manny Pacquiao loss to American Timothy Bradley on June 9, 2012 at Vegas, Nevada, may bring lower a record loss but cannot erode the truly amazing things Pacquio has completed in the game of boxing. Since Manny Pacquiao lost to Erik Morales in March 19, 2005, the Filipino boxer/congressman continues to be taking pleasure in an amazing winning streak of 15th straight wins within the U.S. fight and also the 16th if he wins against Timothy Bradley on Saturday evening.

According to Pacquiao’s last 4 fights (3 UD’s and 1 MD) we may have experienced the 33-years old Pacquiao tipping point. We have seen the very best of Manny Pacquiao 4 years ago in 2008 as he shipped effective knockouts to Oscar dela Hoya, Ough Hatton and Miguel Cotto. Some experts stated that Pacquiao’s subpar performances in the last 3 fights especially on Marquez was the credited to his extra activities apart from as being a boxer that was TV host by himself game show and being chosen as congressman this year. In addition, Manny Pacquiao’s marital difficulties with his wife, Jinkee were severed in the last fight in November with Juan Manuel Marquez as Yahoo reviews.
